It can also be used to “train” babies to latch on to their mothers breast if they are having difficulty doing so. These bottles do not contain any BPA and was the first of the major bottle manufacturers to discontinue using baby feeding bottles with BPA.

Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow baby feeding bottles are known for their unique design that utilizes a tube vent to help keep babies from swallowing air when they drink from them. There has been alot of positive feedback from parents in regards to these bottles, which indicates that they do indeed improve the chances of colic. The negative is that they are a little aggravating to clean and put together. Unless you have a baby with gas problems, a less expensive, simpler bottle like the BornFree will probably work fine. Dr. Brown’s bottles are also BPA free.
Evenflo Classic Glass Nurser
Unlike the specialty bottles above, the Evenflo Classic Glass Nurser is a simple and traditional baby feeding bottle. This bottle is most popular because it is not made out of plastic and is BPA free, though most bottle manufacturers are now only selling BPA free products.
